Martin studied Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. During his PhD studies he collaborated on a research project with Thomas Trojer and Matthias Farwick, who would later found Txture as a spin-off of this project. After finishing his PhD, Martin became one of Txture's earliest employees. Aside from his interest in software architecture and programming languages, Martin has a soft spot for all things involving fantasy and sci-fi, and also loves playing (and developing) games across a variety of platforms.
