Martin is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a rich background in Software Engineering and Data Science. He is currently a Tech Lead in Generative AI at KPN’s AI Excellence Center, efficiently navigating the intersection of defining GenAI strategy, crafting technical architectures, and building platform capabilities. Despite his leadership role, Martin likes to remain deeply engaged as an individual contributor across diverse projects.

Fuelled by a passion for technology, Martin traces the roots of this enthusiasm back to his early years spent in his father's car garage in Bulgaria. This later evolved into a journey of assembling computers, to building his own games in C++, and in the last 10 years – exploring the ever-changing realms of AI.

Outside of work, Martin finds peace and inspiration in nature through hobbies like hiking and maintains a healthy lifestyle with weightlifting. And in case your car engine is not starting, feel free to reach out – Martin will be happy to get his hands dirty under the hood.
