Martin Turuta is a co-founder and CTO of Safi, leading the development of a first-of-its-kind product and core technology that enables a safe and transparent dairy supply chain in East Africa. He also co-founded Safi Data where he’s responsible for developing the foundational software which focuses on creating a sustainable system to capture powerful insights from the most rural regions in East Africa and abroad.

Martin’s background is predominantly in mathematics and business, with concentrations in statistics and finance. He has several years of experience working in mid-stage tech as a data scientist and capital markets as a financial index developer.
