Marty is co-Founder and President of Symas Corporation the Full Service Service Station for OpenLDAP and Open Source COBOL Software Technical Support. Symas was founded in 1999 and is going strong. He started his career at IBM in 1967 working with punched-card systems and has kept up with computers ever since. Over the past thirteen years Marty has led Symas to build a FOSS COBOL technology and support team. Most of his time is spent promoting GCC COBOL, the premier Open Source Software COBOL compiler.
