Serving in Executive Level Leadership and Management roles her entire career generating revenues from $14 -$60 Million dollars leading her to become the recipient of the coveted title “Salesperson of the Year” both in 2008 and 2009 and entering the Million Dollar Club in 2007. In fact, she spearheaded and landed a colossal level win while in her role as Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Partnerships for Evans Newton, Inc. included a $5M sale for districtwide whole-school reform programs that produced double-digit increases in student achievement and skyrocketed company profits. Her personal contributions over seven-years took the company from $9M to $22M.

Part of her successful edge is no doubt enhanced by her advanced level of education. Earning first her Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePaul University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Law, and then a Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in Educational Law which she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Mary Lombardo is a true powerhouse in and out of the boardroom. A strong believer in volunteerism, she juggles extensive airline travel time to give back in bold fashion. The most rewarding, she states is her involvement with Make a Wish Foundation, “I receive cases of children that have been deemed terminally ill. I meet with the parents, siblings, and extended family to make a wish come true for the child. Once the wish is identified and agreed upon, I go to work in the background, pull together resources, and make it happen” Additionally, she serves as a CASA, a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She investigates cases of child abuse and neglect for the Cook County Juvenile Court, gathering information and reporting back to the Court.

“I am often asked what skillsets will assist others in reaching next level success patterns. While concrete business strategy and positioning are the backbones of my company, I cannot stress enough, the importance of incorporating the concrete with the abstract. I can teach people how to write business plans and run and read spreadsheets, but the importance of identifying potential problems before they occur is priceless – literally. This takes business instincts. Having a keen sense of observation will dramatically change outcomes as will assessing rapidly changing situations; it’s necessary for navigating unchartered waters. It’s a matter of balancing the art and the science of sales. In order to be successful, both must be mastered.”
