Mason Jones is the Director of Zapier's Internal Platform engineering department. His teams provide the foundations for Zapier's engineering organization, from cloud to observability, databases and runtimes to developer experience. Previously, Mason was Director of Infrastructure at Lattice, and Senior Staff Engineer at Credit Karma. He has spent more than 25 years as a leader at startups throughout Silicon Valley. He specializes in guiding technical organizations to reliable microservices, cloud architecture, and self-service tools to empower development teams. When Mason isn’t shipping code, he's active in playing and recording strange avant-garde music under a variety of guises.
