He's still surprised to be working in insurance, but assures you it's more interesting than it sounds and involves interesting tech, people and solutions. And actuaries. Always actuaries.

He still thinks of himself as a developer even though his teams won't let him anywhere near their code, but he has the BitBucket admin account password so can do what he likes. He recently managed to sneak 3 lines of code into a release and spent the next month working it into conversation.

Despite being Australian, he loves living in South Africa, and has even once worn a Springbok jersey.
