Matt Fenner has dedicated more than 30 years to acquiring companies, improving their financial and operational performance, expanding their value, and guiding them toward successful exits. Working from Florida, he combines a strong accounting background with executive leadership and hands-on business management experience. Over the years, he has worked across organizations of varying sizes, from startup ventures to large corporate operations.

Matt earned an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Accounting from the University of North Florida. After beginning his professional career in a CPA firm, he moved into private enterprise, where financial discipline and practical business decision-making were closely connected. Early experiences taught him that while financial statements provide important information, lasting improvements come from taking the right actions to strengthen business performance.

One of his notable accomplishments was helping support the growth and sale of the largest privately owned alarm security company in the United States. Following that transaction, he joined the acquiring company's M&A team, where he contributed to tuck-in acquisitions in a business generating $10 billion in annual revenue. This experience helped shape his understanding of acquisitions, business growth, and value creation.

Matt Fenner from Jacksonville later served as CFO and startup equity partner for a motorcycle retail organization operating several locations across Florida with annual revenue exceeding $50 million. During a period of renewed growth for the historic brand, he played an important role in building its retail presence.

At a leading business process outsourcing company, Matt co-led financial operations for the Wireless and Wireline Telecom division. This business unit employs 17,000 people and generates $800 million in annual revenue. During that time, he improved margins by $22 million, removed more than $11 million in billing errors, consolidated 30 billing systems into three centralized platforms, and helped secure over $50 million in new contract revenue.

In 2019, he co-founded a Jacksonville-based venture capital firm and continues to serve as COO/CFO. The organization has grown into 12 operating companies, with more than 1,000 employees working across Clinical Health and Technology Staffing, Technology PMO, Civil Engineering, Construction, and Pediatric Dental and Neurological Medical Research, along with 20 passive investments. Revenue increased from $30 million in 2018 to a projected $200 million by year-end 2026. Throughout his career, Matt Fenner has focused on building scalable organizations, improving operations, and creating sustainable long-term value through disciplined leadership and strategic growth.
