I build systems for curriculum management, program approvals, and academic operations. Thirteen years inside a public college taught me where those processes break, and the last three and a half have gone into rebuilding them on the Microsoft Power Platform.
Most of that work is in Dataverse and model-driven apps, taken from discovery and data modelling through to build, deployment, and ultimately governance in the Power Platform admin centre.

2026 CIRPA Conference
I’m delivering two sessions at CIRPA 2026 in Hamilton:
1. “Streamlining Program Reviews with the Power Platform: A Digital Transformation Case Study from MITT” is a concurrent session showing how the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology replaced a manual process with a model-driven app built on Microsoft Dataverse. The solution supports annual reviews of 30+ programs and cut the review cycle to under a month.
2. “Low-Code, High Impact: Building Solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform” is a 90-minute hands-on workshop for IR professionals who are curious about Power Apps and Power Automate, but are unsure whether they’re worth taking the time to learn. It covers what the tools can realistically do for an IR office, where they fall short, and what the learning curve actually looks like, drawing on my own experience picking up the platform. Participants also build a working approval flow in Power Automate, a pattern that transfers directly to many everyday workflows.
