Dr. Mattia Sanna serves as Associate Professor in the Master's and PhD Program in Global Health and Health Security at Taipei Medical University. He holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Biology and Biotechnology of Fungi from University of Turin, Italy. After beginning his career in agricultural research, he moved to Taiwan, where he transitioned to public health. His expertise includes data analysis, GIS, and mathematical modelling. His primary research focus is tobacco control, with additional interests in women's health, socio-emotional learning, and, more recently, the ethical and practical implications of AI in health care.
