The purpose of our monthly connection call is to provide Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) and prospective MCTs with a dedicated platform to explore and discuss the latest features and tools across Microsoft 365 products. This call aims to enhance the knowledge and teaching capabilities of MCTs by:
Showcasing New Features: Highlighting recent updates and innovations within Microsoft 365 to keep trainers at the forefront of technology.
Sharing Best Practices: Facilitating the exchange of effective training strategies and methodologies among MCTs.
Fostering Community: Building a supportive network where trainers can collaborate, share insights, and seek advice.
Addressing Challenges: Providing a forum to discuss common challenges and solutions related to Microsoft 365 training.
Encouraging Continuous Learning: Promoting ongoing professional development and mastery of Microsoft 365 tools.
Together, we aim to empower Microsoft Certified Trainers to deliver exceptional training experiences and drive the adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions.
Thank you for your interest in presenting at MCT Tech Talks, our free monthly virtual event series designed for MCTs (Microsoft Certified Trainers), IT pros, and community educators. We’re kicking off our speaker lineup with the first session scheduled for October 17th, 2025, and we’re now accepting speaker submissions.
Session Format
Each MCT Tech Talk is 60 minutes long. Speakers will have 45 minutes to present, following 10 minutes for community announcements and followed by 5 minutes for audience Q&A. These events are held virtually and events are not recorded to encourage open dialogue amongst participants.
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for sessions that bring practical insight, real-world experience, and forward-thinking ideas in areas such as:
Sessions with live demos, step-by-step walkthroughs, and tangible takeaways are encouraged. If your topic touches on commercial, government, or education tenants—or leverages tools like PowerShell or Conditional Access policies—these are also a great fit, but please ensure you break these down for a foundational understanding.
