Meena Chand is a recent graduate from the University of Wolverhampton with a deep passion for mainframe technology and enterprise computing. With nearly five years of experience in IT management, software development, and digital transformation, she has contributed to innovative projects spanning web and mobile applications, IoT solutions, and enterprise systems.

Her expertise in computing was recognized at the GSE UK Conference 2024, where she and her team won the prestigious Catch the Flag (CTF) competition, solving z/OS security and performance challenges. She also holds the IBM Z Xplore All-Star badge, demonstrating her advanced proficiency in mainframe technologies.

Currently, Meena works as a Technical Solution Architect at Essist Omnikron Ltd (IBM iUG), where she continues to contribute to enterprise solutions and digital innovation.

She was awarded a fully funded scholarship by Black STEM and Leadership to pursue a leadership development program at Homerton College, University of Cambridge—a testament to her commitment to personal growth, equity, and community leadership.

Meena has also been selected as a mentee in the prestigious Open Mainframe Project Mentorship Program, where she is actively contributing to the initiative "Addressing the COBOL Crisis," aiming to bridge the skills gap in legacy systems vital to global enterprises.

Beyond her technical contributions, Meena has been a guest speaker and resource person at institutions such as Kathmandu University and Broadway Infosys, sharing insights on technology, software development, spirituality, and career development. Her work has been featured in national newspapers, magazines, and university interviews.

As the President of the Cambridge Wolves Society, she has actively led student engagement initiatives and has been honored with awards such as the Santander Universities Brighter Futures Grant and the Best Organiser Award. She has worked in diverse roles, including Software Developer at Satrex Ltd (UK) and in IT and development positions across Nepal and Germany.

A strong advocate for education and social impact, Meena initiated the Kisori Scholarship to support girls from underprivileged backgrounds. Her guiding mission is to "Lead and Serve."

Even as a student, Meena actively supports fellow students—offering mentorship, career guidance, and technical training. She remains committed to helping young professionals navigate their careers by delivering sessions that blend practical industry knowledge with inspirational mentorship.
