Megan Simón (she/her) is a Portland, Oregon native completing her master’s degree in Educational Policy and Leadership, graduating in June 2025. She holds a B.S. in Social Sciences from Portland State University and has served in multiple roles at Reed College, including in the Student Life Office and the Office for Student Engagement, before joining the Residence Life team.

Megan currently helps lead the Sustainability and Environmental Justice (SEJ) Residential Learning Community at Reed, supporting students in connecting campus life, academics, and environmental justice initiatives. She has particular interests in co-curricular learning, residential education, and the development of residential curricula that are built to maintain meaningful, equity-centered student engagement beyond the classroom.

Previously, Megan served as the Director of Education for the Gender, Advocacy, and Inclusion Network (GAIN) of Higher Education, where she curated the organization’s educational programming and annual conference sessions.
