Meghan Popcun (she/her) serves as the Assistant Director of Sustainability and Communications at the University at Albany. In this role, Meghan oversees engagement, communication, and waste reduction initiatives. Meghan joined the Office of Sustainability in July of 2025 after working for ten years in Student Affairs managing Orientation and new student programs. Meghan has supported sustainability efforts throughout her career and volunteers for waste reduction initiatives in New York’s Capital Region. Meghan earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration from the University at Albany.
