Melanie is a Postgres committer and major contributor working at Microsoft as a principal engineer. In the last decade, Melanie has worked on the vacuum, asynchronous IO, and statistics subsystems. She serves as an organizer of the annual PGConf.dev conference and is on the PostgreSQL Contributors Committee.
