Mengchi Zhang is Research Scientist in AI and Systems co-design team at Meta. He focuses on primitives optimizations and sparse data structures on GPU for deep learning recommendation systems. Before joining Meta, he received his PhD degree from AALP lab in Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, where he was interested in GPU architecture, programmability and software systems.
