I spent a good deal of time making mistakes and learning from them, allowing me to gather experience that I can now pass to my less seasoned colleagues.
I prototype and outline solutions for the problems of our clients during the discovery phase of the projects. The needs of the clients are very diverse, allowing me to further develop myself in the areas that I have not examined before.
My experience and knowledge of the cloud allows me to craft an optimal solution to the problems we face in regards to the requirements for the performance, reliability, availability, security, cost, and sustainability. I feel a great deal of satisfaction when the solution we design and develop helps our clients to achieve their goals and flourish.

Demystifying Cost: The Right Cloud Compute for Your Workload

In today's dynamic cloud landscape, choosing the most cost-effective compute service can feel like navigating a maze. This session cuts through the complexity! We'll dive deep into the strengths and hidden costs of three leading AWS compute options: Amazon EC2, AWS Fargate, and AWS Lambda.

Discover a clear framework for evaluating your workload needs against factors like scalability, management overhead, and instance pricing. Learn how to optimize your cloud spend and achieve true total cost of ownership (TCO) efficiency. Walk away with actionable insights to confidently select the perfect compute service for your next project, regardless of its size or complexity.

This session is ideal for developers, architects, and anyone looking to:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of AWS compute service options
Uncover the hidden costs associated with services
Develop a strategic approach to TCO optimization in the cloud
Make informed decisions for building cost-effective, scalable applications

Technical requirements: None; Target audience: AWS cloud enthusiasts; Preferred session duration: 40 minutes

Build Bulletproof Business Logic: Domain-Driven Design & Immutability in .NET C#

We'll dive into the power of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and immutability, proven techniques for crafting robust and error-resistant applications. I will describe how to model your business domain effectively using DDD patterns, and discover the power of immutability to safeguard your code against unexpected changes.

Walk away with practical approaches to:

Simplify complex business logic using DDD for a clear separation of concerns.
Eliminate errors at the source with the power of immutable data structures.
Write code that's easier to maintain and test for long-term project success.
This session is ideal for .NET developers of all levels looking to elevate their coding skills and build applications that are more reliable, scalable, and easier to manage.

Technical requirements: Knowledge of programming in C# .NET, target audience: C# .NET enthusiasts, Preferred session duration: 40 minutes

Streamline Your Development Experience with GitHub Copilot

Nullability in .NET: Useless or Priceless?

Let's revisit the nullability feature introduced in C# 8 and its role in enhancing code reliability and reducing runtime errors caused by null references. The talk covers why null references have been historically problematic, how nullable reference types work, and what benefits and challenges they bring to modern .NET development. We'll look at practical examples, discuss its real-world usefulness, and wrap up by reflecting on whether nullability is an indispensable tool or just another feature.

Beyond Keywords: Enhancing Auction Search Relevancy and Recall with Hybrid Search

Get an insider’s look at the transformative potential of Elasticsearch ELSER-powered hybrid search in the auction industry—where massive catalogs, rich item descriptions, and ambiguous terms challenge traditional search. Discover how hybrid search goes beyond keywords to understand user intent via combination of lexical and semantic search. Connect historical items with modern queries, and deliver results that make sense.
