Before Michael Beck started his Kafka journey at Confluent, he worked at VMware and Pivotal and supported customers to build new applications and abstractions based on Spring and Kubernetes. Adding up to the previous experiences as a consultant on client side applications, he has been working at Confluent since 2020 as a Solutions Engineer, combining his knowledge of building microservices with Data-in-Motion architectures.
