Michael C. Rubin is a Swiss/Brazilian Engineer and MIT Data Scientist, who works with R-Shiny since 2018. In 2020, Michael co-founded ODAPES, a pioneering initiative that utilized R-Shiny to catalyze the digital inclusion of the overlooked smallholder farmers. Building on this success, Michael embarked on a new venture in late 2023, founding SwissDataApps with a mission to democratize access to R-Shiny solutions in the Swiss Market. The focus lies on smaller companies, which are left behind in the digital transformation given the severe shortage of IT professionals. Michael’s core expertise lies in developing production-grade R-Shiny apps. He was a 2 times speaker at the global R-Shiny conference.
