Michael has deep and broad leadership expertise having successfully launched billion-dollar products, turned around struggling businesses, developed innovative programs to educate medical professions and improve patient care, and partnered with private and public industry leaders to advance healthcare around the world. As a life sciences executive who has spent over 30 years in large pharmaceutical (over 100,000 employees) and small biotech (less than 25 employees) companies, he has held c-suite and other leadership roles in strategy, marketing, sales, finance, and business development functions in the U.S. and globally. Michael currently advises biotech and medtech CEOs in strategy and partnering as Founder and Principal of Intelluvia LLC. He has been the keynote speaker and invited guest at conferences and other events in several countries, typically focusing on leadership and business strategy.
Michael holds an MBA from The Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and a BA summa cum laude from Northwestern University. He has also participated in executive health care programs at the Harvard Business School of Harvard University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Michael is highly active in the community, currently serving as Vice President of the Bucks County Community College Foundation and has been on several other charity boards. He coached youth basketball and soccer for over a decade and served in multiple roles supporting the local Boy Scouts chapter.
