Shift: From Hearing to Listening Workshop
Listening is easy to learn but hard to master!
We know those who are the most successful in their lives are expert listeners.
And yet we are surrounded by poor listeners. So what do we do about it?
In today's "Age of Distraction", good listening is difficult to achieve, let alone maintain!
So how can we interrupt the monologues and create more dialogues for better outcomes?
Learn how to use three key techniques to increase our listening and collaboration:
1. Double Aces - how to better respond to situations through active listening
2. Distraction Busters - Master ways to decrease distractions
3. Meisner's Repetition Exercise - An acting technique that allows you to "get out of your head" and shift focus to the speaker
I have shared these listening topics during regular coaching and mentoring sessions throughout my career, with increased focus since 2015 and they are highlighted in the book, "Shift: From Product to People".
