Actions
During her 14 years as a classroom teacher in the School District of Philadelphia and Fairfax County Public Schools, Michelle prioritized students' social-emotional learning (SEL) along with their academic learning, and was inspired by the positive outcomes her students experienced. Those results, along with a calling to support educators, led Michelle to educational consulting where she had the privilege of designing and leading SEL professional development for educators and consulting in public, private and charter schools, nationally and internationally. Currently, Michelle serves as the Social, Emotional, and Academic Learning Coordinator for the Centennial School District in Pennsylvania, where she leads the systemic implementation of SEL across the district and is a proud member of the CASEL SEL Fellows Academy.
