As a Lead Software Engineer with 34 years of experience in Healthcare IT, I have been exposed to all aspects of Healthcare IT, from end user support, to product development and implementation. In my current role, I am a TAG Engineer providing third level support, and I have the added responsibility of representing the support organization as a stakeholder in solution coordination. In these roles, I work closely with other stakeholders to identify implementation, operational and solution risks regarding the supportability of our solutions. I have worked closely with IP counterparts, recommending enhancements that speed resolution, and create greater autonomy for our support organization and our clients. My ultimate goal, as it the case for all Cerner associates, is to deliver quality solutions and services that enhance the experience of clinicians and empower the IT Professionals that support them.
