Michelle Strasburger is the CEO and Co-Founder of AI Rebooted (formerly HR Rebooted), an AI governance SaaS company that helps organizations build the frameworks, policies, and oversight needed to manage AI safely and effectively. She is also the Co-Creator of Governance 1st™, an AI governance platform aligned with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. Before launching the company, Michelle spent 25 years in HR, serving as an executive, fractional CHRO, and strategic business partner to organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. That experience gives her a grounded view of how AI adoption actually plays out inside real organizations, and why it so often stalls. She recognized early that AI has the power both to enhance productivity and to disrupt traditional workforce models, which shaped her conviction that HR must help lead AI governance to ensure outcomes that are both ethical and effective. It is the philosophy at the heart of her book: AI is the orchestra, and HR is the conductor.
Michelle is a sought-after speaker on AI governance and how HR leaders can lead confidently in the age of AI. She has spoken at Opal HR in the Age of AI, the Opal Compliance Conference, Richmond AIX, HR Transform, HR Disrupt, the Strategic HR Conference, and MAHRA (Manchester Area HR Association).
