Microsoft JDConf is an online Java focused conference where developers can come together to share interesting topics and stay engaged. Learn more about the latest cloud and AI development trends, best practices, tips, tricks, and more.

This year’s JDConf will center on empowering Java developers with the tools and knowledge to build and scale modern applications in the cloud, integrating AI technologies along the way. At every step of the development lifecycle, there is now also the opportunity to learn about how to reduce developer toil work with AI-assisted developer loops. Whether you’re modernizing existing apps or starting fresh with cloud-native and AI-enhanced solutions, JDConf 2025 will showcase innovations that streamline your workflows and boost productivity.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every developer on the planet, and this includes Java! We welcome every Java developer around the world to this community focused event. JDConf started in 2020. We saw an amazing turnout and want to keep the engagement going.

Java is critically important to Microsoft. Not only are we building tools and services like VS Code, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and Azure services, we’re also part of the Java Community Process and contributing back to the community. We use Java ourselves running millions of JVMs in production - from LinkedIn and Minecraft to Azure Big Data services and Yammer.

Our goal is to highlight Java expert speakers and showcase the great work that’s going on across the Java community. To support this, we invite you to submit session topics for consideration.
