Miguel is a Portuguese qualified lawyer with a deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem. After three years of working at Morais Leitão’s Team Genesis, during which he co-lectured the “Startup Lifecycle” module in the Law and Tech Masters at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Miguel joined Taylor Wessing’s renowned Corporate Technology Team in London. His practice focuses on advising emerging/high-growth companies and investors in financing rounds, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Furthermore, Miguel has a preeminent understanding of the Web3 space and relevant experience assisting companies and individuals in the sector. In October 2022, he co-founded Blockchain Lawyers Group - a global network of legal experts in blockchain and crypto related matters.
