Mike Savitz is currently a Director at Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks, where he regularly leads DFIR investigations, including ransomware, network intrusions, business email compromise, insider threats, and more, with additional experience in IR playbook development and tabletop exercises. Mr. Savitz has over 15 years of DFIR experience, the last 5+ of which has been at Unit 42 (and formerly Crypsis), and another 10+ at Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Savitz holds a M.S. in Digital Forensics and is EnCE certified.
