Grow Your Flow, Building Flow Plugins to Augment Existing Flow Functionality

In this session we demonstrate how you can leverage custom connectors that don’t just connect to other systems, but can add functionality to Flow itself. We’ll leverage Azure Functions to implement specific requirements not met by out-of-the-box flow actions and conditions to create what we’ve dubbed as Custom Flow Plugins.

The Power Platform for .Net Developers

This session will give an overview of different areas of Microsoft's Power Platform, with a focus on how they can be extended with .Net. We'll look at how Power Automate is a strong automation engine on its own but becomes unstoppable when you combine it with Azure Functions. We'll show how to create event driven plugins (similar to database triggers) using .NET, Visual Studio and Command Line Tooling. We'll also look at writing a custom Virtual Entity provider so you can surface complex data from other data sources and interact with it as if it were natively stored in Power Platform. This session is a live build and will show the strengths and best use cases for each area.

Power Catalog: The Next Generation

Power Catalog is a feature of Power Platform that allows makers and users to easily find and install apps, components and templates within their organization. It also enables administrators and approvers to curate and control the quality and security of the Power Platform artifacts. However, until recently, Power Catalog was only accessible through a command line interface, which limited its usability and adoption.

In this session, you will learn about the new in-maker experiences for Power Catalog, which provide a graphical user interface for publishing and acquiring components from the catalog. You will also get an overview of the existing catalog functionality and the benefits of using it for different scenarios and audiences. Finally, you will see a live demonstration of some of the new features and capabilities that will be available soon for everyone.

LUIS, Flow and the Bot: A Love Story

When LUIS met Flow they were both very new on the scene. Some might even say they grew up together. No one knew the potential these two new comers had as a couple in the high-powered Power Platform scene until now. Come see how LUIS and Flow can combine to create a low-code Bot that can connect to any service in your organization and allow your users to interact using plain language and transform the way you think about customer service and digital transformation in your organization.

How the CoE Starter Kit Runs an Open Source Power Platform Project on Github

In this session we’ll look at what tools, practices and lessons can be shared from the CoE Starter Kit team to make developing Power Platform projects possible in the wild using open source. The primary focus will be on how power platform OSS is different from traditional OSS and where there are similarities that can be adopted. Attendees will learn how to start their own Open Source projects.

Let me be your Power Platform ALM Copilot

The Application Lifecycle Management landscape in Dynamics and the Power Platform is changing rapidly and for the better. Join me to discuss the latest developments and the tools available for ALM today.

Should you choose to use the built-in Pipelines for Power Platform, roll your own with Power Platform Build tools or should you use the ALM Accelerator?

In this session, I’ll provide all the information you need to make the right decision for your organization and demonstrate the latest and greatest in the platform to make it easier for you to get started now.

Calling All Innovators! Unlock the Power of Code-First Copilot Actions!

Are you ready to begin a journey of code-first development to rid the world of low-code limitations? Get ready, because this session is your ticket to building the one Copilot to rule them all!

The Dilemma: When You Reach the Low-Code Cliffs

Picture this: You’re building your copilot, and low-code tools are your trusty sidekicks. They’re fantastic for rapid prototyping, but what happens when your guides can no longer take you any further? That’s where the plot thickens. You need more advanced capabilities, performance optimizations, and tailored integrations—things that a code-first approach can deliver more readily and more rapidly.

The Quest: Enhancing Your Copilot

On this journey, we’ll explore scenarios where low-code techniques lay the foundation and we’ll unleash the power of code-first capabilities to take your copilot to new heights beyond the cliffs. From custom connectors and APIs to Azure app services integrations, we’re building the bridge to your destination.

The Fusion Team: Where Magic Happens

Fusion teams are the fellowship of app development—combining low-code wizards with code-first warriors. Together, they wield the latest Power Platform ALM capabilities and maker tools. Whether you’re comfy in a low-code tunic or coding in your dark mode suit of armor, we’ve got each other's back.

So mark your calendars, assemble your travelers, and let’s embark on this quest for copilot greatness!

Building Dynamics 365 Bots with MS Bot Framework and LUIS

Conversations as a platform have been touted by companies including Microsoft and Facebook as the next generation of software user interface. With the introduction of publicly accessible frameworks for building chat bots that can be accessed via everything from Email to Skype to SMS, Dynamics CRM is perfectly poised to take advantage of this new way of interfacing. In this session we’ll demonstrate how to build a Bot that interacts with CRM using plain language commands and provide developers with an open source solution to get started building their own next generation user interfaces.

Build a Line of Business Application using PowerApps in 1 Hour

This session will illustrate how to utilize and build canvas apps and model driven apps on the Common Data Service in an easy to understand business requirement context.

Azure: A Hang Glider for Power Platform Cliffs

The Power Platform provides an incredible amount of technology and flexibility for solution developers to create new and innovative business applications within their organization and outside of their organizations, but what happens when you reach the end of the road with the Power Platform and you still have further to go?

One of Microsoft's tenants for the Power Platform is the idea of "No Cliffs". This means that even when you reach the end of the platform's capabilities you can take it further using extensibility built into the platform. One of the most important hang gliders to get you over the Power Platform cliffs is Azure.

By running certain payloads outside of the Power Platform or specific business operations in the cloud you can bridge the gap without having to invest in a costly bridge construction.

In this session we will look at the hang glider that is Azure functions, Azure Web Apps and other Azure Resources that can help you fill the gap without having to rethink your original path to the finish line.

App In a Day, In an Hour

This session is a fast paced introduction to the Power Platform and getting started with the Common Data Service, Power Apps Canvas Apps and Power Apps Model Driven Apps as well as Flow and Power BI. Attendees will see a working example of a common line of business application built using the entire Power Platform. Attendees will leave with a basic understanding of how each of these technologies contribute to their users, customers, administrators and executives.

Azure Devops for Power Apps and Dynamics 365

In this session we'll walk through creating a DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline for Power Apps and Dynamics 365. You'll see a live demonstration of a working pipeline complete with source controlled solutions that reveal the history of your customizations and automated deployment to the environments in your tenant.

All In on ALM: Extending ALM Capabilities for Power Platform

The Big Bet: We’ll delve into Microsoft’s big bets on ALM within the Power Platform in recent years and months.

Playing the Hand You’re Dealt: Discover the full suite of out-of-the-box capabilities and learn how to stack the deck in your favor.

Raising the Stakes: Beyond the basics, we’ll explore extension points that allow you to up your ALM game. We’ll examine custom approvals and static code analysis scenarios as well as custom DevOps systems integrations and limitless possibilities for customizations.

Everyone Plays: Whether you’re a low-code enthusiast or a pro-code aficionado, this session has you covered. We’ll discuss how fusion teams can become a reality in your organization and makers and developers can collaborate using source control as the source of truth and how both small and large organizations can benefit from best-in-class ALM solutions—everyone can have a hand in the ALM game.
