Founded in early 2018, infoVia launched into the advisory consulting practice with a vision to guide
organizations along the information journey following leading practices and proven success strategies.
No organization has the staff or expertise to walk that path alone, and infoVia’s skilled and experienced
staff will assist in that journey.
infoVia’s diverse strengths derive from depth and breadth of experience with data-driven programs in
Manufacturing, Education, Insurance, and Healthcare markets. Each opportunity has allowed the
infoVia team to glean significant insight into what drives a successful DW/BI initiative. Our team has
also learned what factors can cause data programs to fail, and infoVia views those learning
opportunities as part of a success strategy.
infoVia’s true strength, though, lies in a passion for effective data solution delivery. infoVia truly wants
to enable discovery of valuable information and hidden stories to help its client organizations find
growth-driving insights and new business opportunities by integrating and unveiling information that
was previously unseen or unknown. The infoVia team’s passion, combined with previous data-centric
programs experience, allows infoVia to deliver tailored results for each client organization.

Biography
Michael Magalsky is founder and Principal Architect at infoVia (http://info-via.com). He draws from a
quarter-century of data and analytics experience at Micron Technologies, where Michael helped lead
the big data effort to integrate the company’s massive volumes of manufacturing data to improve cost
structure and quality of Micron's world-leading memory products. Now, as an independent consultant
with infoVia specializing in Information Architecture, Data Warehouse Modeling and Implementation,
and Data Security, his team helps other organizations benefit from the lessons learned in the data
journeys with numerous successful clients in the United States and abroad. Mike’s passion for results-oriented, value-added data integration and provisioning has led to work in industries including
healthcare, education, insurance, manufacturing, and services industries. Mike is a certified Project
Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Vault Modeler (CDVDM), and Certified Data Vault 2.0
Practitioner (CDVP2). He lives with his family in beautiful Boise, Idaho, where he enjoys spending his
weekends in the Idaho outdoors.
