Hands-on Experimentation to Explore AI-Powered Navigation in Cloud-Edge Collaboration
Edge computing has successfully extended cloud-native technologies to the edge. In recent years, the development and application of edge AI have garnered widespread attention. Building upon KubeEdge and its SIG AI subproject, Sedna, we have achieved significant practical successes across various sectors including satellite communications, industrial automation, and healthcare. Through the cloud-edge collaboration frameworks, we have maximized the advantages of cloud-native technologies in edge AI scenarios, effectively balancing data privacy at the edge while reducing costs and improving model performance.
This talk will introduce how the cloud-edge collaborative frameworks of KubeEdge and Sedna are instrumental in the realm of AI technology, how they are applied to real-world scenarios such as satellite communications. Additionally, we'll conduct hands-on experiments to demonstrate how cloud-native and AI technologies can be effectively utilized within edge devices.
