Miranda Stanfield is a distinguished cybersecurity professional, educator, and visionary entrepreneur. With over a decade of federal government experience, including roles at The Navy, The White House, and the Department of Justice, Miranda has established herself as a leader in the cybersecurity field. She holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity, and multiple industry certifications.

Miranda is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Cybersecurity Leadership at Capitol Technology University. Her research focuses on addressing the underrepresentation of African Americans in the cybersecurity workforce. She is the founder of MBS.Tech is dedicated to closing the wealth gap and digital divide through innovative cybersecurity education programs and initiatives. Her groundbreaking courses/workshops and community initiatives have empowered countless individuals to pivot into cybersecurity, helping them build lucrative and impactful careers.

Miranda’s passion for technology started early. At just 10 years old, she built her first computer, igniting a lifelong commitment to breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity in STEM. She has been recognized for her contributions to education, earning accolades such as the "Program of the Year" award for her cybersecurity curriculum implemented in DC public schools.
