Montserrat Serrano is an assistant principal and educational leader with expertise in supporting multilingual learners through culturally responsive and social-emotional practices. With experience in elementary education, she has led efforts to integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) into schoolwide systems to better serve diverse student populations.
Her work focuses on the intersection of equity, language development, and student well-being, with a particular emphasis on newcomer English Language Learners.
