From Idea to Production: A Case Study of a Sitecore Search Solution
Many businesses struggle to provide a fast, reliable, and user-friendly search experience for their customers. Search is a critical component of any website or application, as it helps users find the information or products they need. However, building and maintaining a search solution can be challenging, costly, and time-consuming.
In this presentation I will show how to create a powerful, flexible and practical search solution from zero, all the way into production, describing, step by step the challenges that one will face and the solutions to them:
• Start with a Search instance from blank
• Create an index with attributes for filtering using the Search Console
• Use the Search SDK to show a Search Result widget in a blank Next.Js app
• Change the Search Result widget as business user in the CEC using the Search Rules, Boosting features and add/remove facets
Search is a vital function for any business that wants to provide a satisfying and engaging experience for its users. This presentation will describe real life challenges and issues and offer practical solutions.
