Michael has a long history in the IT industry working with VMware platforms and infrastructure automation in particular. His wheelhouse for several years has been helping customers automate their infrastructure and services using vRealize Automation. He also spends a lot of time in his homelab learning about many complementary technologies.

Michael has spoken at a number of VMware User Group (VMUG) events and helped found the South West UK VMUG chapter. In addition to being a VMware vExpert since 2011, Michael was also selected to join VMware's CTO Ambassador program in 2019.
