I am working as a Cloud Architect with APENTO in Denmark. My primary focus is to help customers see the benefit of moving services to Microsoft Azure. I identify the services that will value their business through conversations, analysis, and customer workshops. Once services are identified, I help plan and migrate them to Azure.

I am passionate about sharing insights with the community and enjoy helping wherever possible. I run my blog at https://www.cloudninja.nu, where I share my insights on Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and cloud automation.

I am awarded Microsoft MVP in Azure and I am also a Citrix CTP

Basic monitoring of Citrix in Azure

Using PowerShell and MDT with Azure and On-Prem to Deliver a Consistent Environment to both

By leveraging PowerShell and MDT you can deliver the same infrastructure in the cloud as you can in your own datacenter. In this session we will look at building a Citrix VDA in your on-prem XenServer environment and in the Azure public cloud. We will be using a custom PowerShell GUI for this, but also look into the code behind the scenes. With this technology you can either create a hybrid environment or a DR setup in a simplified way

Azure infrastructure as code

In this session, I will show you how I can deploy a complete Azure setup with multiple subnets, network security groups, virtual machines, and an active directory from scratch. I will not be making any modifications to the virtual machines using GUI, but only code that is in source control.
The technique used in this session can work just as well on any cloud or on-premises environment.

Automate your Citrix images with Azure DevOps

How do you manage your Citrix Cloud image today? Learn how to use Azure DevOps to update images deploy those images to the machine catalog in Citrix Cloud without you having to touch anything but new software packages. We will look at the Citrix Cloud RestAPI and Azure DevOps to see how easy it can be to automate your Citrix environment. Also, we can integrate Azure DevOps into Microsoft Teams to inform or interact with Azure DevOps directly from a known platform.

Automation in Azure

Take your first steps into automation in Azure. We will walk through how to use resource groups to organize your environment. We will also talk about using PowerShell for deploying these resources into Azure.
