At Safaricom, Munene plays a pivotal role in the development of the MySafaricom App serves as a lifestyle mobile and web application, simplifying daily tasks for consumers. At the same time, the Safaricom Home App offers a convenient way for customers to manage their Fibre accounts and services.

In addition to these projects, Munene is the lead developer for the DigiSOC Android app. In today’s technology-driven world, digitization has significantly impacted the telecommunications industry, and Safaricom has fully embraced this direction. The DigiSOC app supports Field Engineers in maintaining the company’s network landscape, aiming to achieve 99.9% network availability.
