Murrough Foley is a technical SEO consultant and researcher who builds open-source tools and benchmarks for web content extraction. He is the creator of rs-trafilatura — a high-performance Rust library achieving F1=0.966 on the ScrapingHub benchmark — and WCXB, the Web Content Extraction Benchmark: a public dataset of 2,008 pages across 1,613 domains used to evaluate 12 extraction systems (10 heuristic and 2 neural). With 15+ years in technical SEO spanning multi-regional and multi-lingual deployments, his research examines how content quality signals correlate with Google rankings.
