Natalie Delgado is a senior Biology major on the pre-medical track at Baylor University with a growing interest in the intersection of artificial intelligence, medical research, and patient care. Her research interests focus on how AI can transform the medical field while preparing future healthcare professionals to thoughtfully and effectively integrate emerging technologies into clinical practice.

Natalie is particularly interested in the application of AI in medical imaging and radiology, as well as its potential to improve medical education, clinical decision-making, and patient outcomes. She is also interested in exploring how AI can better serve underserved and Spanish-speaking populations, including the role of language and culturally responsive technologies in reducing barriers to care. Through her research and experiences in healthcare, she hopes to better understand how AI can be developed and implemented in ways that support both clinicians and the diverse patient populations they serve.

As an aspiring physician, Natalie hopes to contribute to a future of medicine in which technological innovation is paired with equitable, patient-centered care.
