Natalino Jose Barnete is the Regional Coordinator at Mozambican Association for Promotion of Modern Cooperatives (AMPCM), where he does activities coordination and representation of the organization with the authorities of different levels and partners. Ensures the implementation of policies, guidelines and operational strategies at AMPCM Northern Mozambique. In particular perform activities those relating to the support of AMPCM affiliated Cooperatives to ensure the competitiveness and leadership levels in the cooperative market, Identification and elaboration of cooperative Business Models and Regional Production and Export strategy for Cooperatives and Leading the participatory process of defining and implementing the AMPCM sustainability strategy with the members in Northern region of Mozambique.
Before starting the Cooperative Carrer, Natalino has worked 8 years with reputable national and regional companies as projects manager, including OLIPA -ODES, KUKUMBI in Mozambique and OLIVE TREE FARM in South Africa. After a successful career helping small farmers organized in Associations, Natalino now helps the reborning of Cooperative Movement in Mozambique participating actively in facilitation of establishment of sustainable cooperatives and the definition of policies with Government and other actors to enable a favorable environment for the development of cooperative business in Mozambique. Natalino Barnete Holds a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Management from University of South Africa and National Diploma in Agricultural Management by Nelson Mandela University of South Africa (NMU) and currently is attending Masters of Science in Agriculture from University of South Africa (UNISA).
