Nazarius a.k.a Nazar is an ICT consultant, trainer, entrepreneur, and serial founder. He is Cyber Security Expert and He was a Senior Technology Officer and Trainer at Foxconn Incorporation in the USA from 2002-2004. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems and serves on the boards of several companies and organizations. He is an expert in Internet Governance, Internet Policy, Cyber Security, and Digital Marketing. He is an African Union’s Policy Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa (PRIDA) and Diplo Foundation certified practitioner on Internet Governance. He is a co-organizer of National and Regional Initiative (NRIs) inter-sessional work and collaborative sessions for the annual United Nations-backed Internet Governance Forum. He also is a convener Internet Defenders Summit and several national, regional, and global conferences, talks, workshops, dialogues, and summits.

Nazar joined Internet Society in 2013 and he co-founded Internet Society Tanzania Chapter in 2015. He became its General Secretary in 2017 and he is currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Internet Society Tanzania. He is a national coordinator and convener of the Tanzania Internet Governance Forum and a member of the Secretariat of East Africa Internet Governance. In 2018 he initiated Tanzania Digital Inclusion Project to close the digital divide in rural and urban Tanzania through affordable and meaningful connectivity and mass digital education.

Nazar is a promoter of Digital Rights and Responsibilities, Online Child Safety, Local Content Development, Information and Data Privacy, and Universal Acceptance. He is an enthusiast of IoT, IIoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality(VR). He also has a passion for Safer and Secure Metaverse for humanity. He also founded SheDigital- a long-term STEM program to close the gender digital gap.

A serial founder, Nazar founded and co-founded several organizations and initiatives including Southern Africa Regional School on Internet Governance(SARYSIG), Tanzania School on Internet Governance, Judiciary School on Internet Governance, Policymakers Academy on Internet Governance(PAIG). He is a promoter of Community Networks and Innovation Hubs. In 2005 he founded Venchamax Group- an ICT and integration services company. In 2008 he founded the Africa Institute of Technology- an ICT and Business Systems training organization. In 2010 he co-founded the Tanzania Federation of Green Revolution(TaFeGR) as a vehicle to combat climate change by addressing parts of the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2018 he founded Africa School on Digital Rights(ASDR). He recently founded the Africa Innovation Center for training, research, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies. He has also established Kigamboni Community Network Innovation Hub to connect citizens to digital opportunities through affordable and meaningful Internet, provide digital education to youth and women, and e-learning skills to teachers.

Nazar is a gifted leader, negotiator, mentor, and mediator who uses a multistakeholder approach to governance and he governs from the front. During his youth years, Nazar founded Youth of the United Nations Tanzania in 1995. He was the Organizer and President of the first United Nations Youth Model Assembly to celebrate 50 years of the United Nations, in 1995. At this time he also co-founded Roots & Shoots - A global humanitarian youth program promoting; the care and protection of the environment, animals, and human-centered development under the mentorship and support of Dr. Jane Goodall. He was a Chair of Peace Child International and a convener of the Children's Rights Conference in Tanzania in 1996. While at Secondary School, he became Minister for Science and Technology during in the Tanzania Children's Parliament to celebrate the Day of an Africa Child in 1991.
