U.S. Army Cyber Command: Chief Operating Officer, G3, Army Cyber Command, Fort Gordon, GA
Chief Operating Officer for a global command with over 17,000 employees and an annual budget of $1.9 billion. Responsible to synchronize operating and defending a network with over 1.4 million endpoints. Additionally responsible for offensive cyber and influence operations.
• Established the platform to compete in the digital narrative to counter foreign malign influences
• Organized the election security team that safeguarded America’s mid-terms.
U.S. Army Cyber Command: Chief of Cybersecurity, Fort Gordon, GA
Integrated the governance, risk, and compliance mission with active cyber defense, cyber threat intelligence, and incident responses. Oversaw the cyber defense for the largest network in the world while integrating data science into cyber defenses. Led the Army’s cyber incident responses from 2020-2022.
• Eliminated redundant tools, processes, and people saving $50 million
• Conducted the incidence response for SolarWinds, Log4J, et al.
• Established persistent cyber threat emulation platform & cloud based internet isolation resulting in 95% threat reduction.
U.S. Army Europe: Chief Executive Officer/Brigade Commander
Commanded an Army Signal Brigade that provides networks to Army Forces in 22 countries across Europe and Africa. Works with allied militaries to strengthen communications across NATO. Leads a workforce of 2,200 with an annual budget of $139 million.
• Reduced expenses on legacy infrastructure by $10 million; used the funds to modernize Army Networks in NATO’s eastern European presence.
• Integrated Soviet Era technology with modern US Army IP networks to solidify the NATO coalition.
US Army Central: Chief Operations Officer, Theater Signal Command
Chief Operations Officer for all Army Communications spanning 20 countries in Southwest Asia. Responsible for engineering, integrating, and managing the operations of all command, control communications, and computers for U.S. Army Central.
• Eliminated single points of failure across the Army in SW Asia.
• Virtualized the data support services to Coalition Forces in Iraq.
US Central Command: Chief of Operations, Directorate of Command, Control, Cyber, Communications, and Computers
Responsible to integrate Command Control Computers Communications and Intelligence for all assigned Department of Defense forces spanning 20 countries. Establish requirements, engineers solutions, and develop plans for US forces while coaching, teaching, and assisting coalition partners in support of common goals using Foreign Military Sales, exercises, and common operations.
• Established the coalition UAV intelligence sharing network that allowed for time-sensitive missile strikes resulting in the destruction of several key ISIS targets.
• Managed the largest foreign military sales case in the United States.
