I am a current second year medical student in Athens, Georgia. I have lived in Georgia and also Houston, Texas for most of my life. I received a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Georgia. I now serve as the vice president for the Kern National Network for Flourishing in Medicine chapter at my institution. I am also the vice president of the advocacy in medicine group and president of the orthopedics interest group.

I enjoy cooking and playing basketball in my free time. I have spent much of my life around sports and fitness, which has led to a strong passion for nutritional science. From a young age, I have been interested in how nutrition can impact our everyday lives from our mood to our overall state of health. I now pride myself on consistently improving my understanding of nutrition with the goal of being able to provide guidance to future patients that have questions related to their diet.

I now use my life experiences and leadership roles to share my interests in wellness, medicine, and patient advocacy with others. Whether through student groups, mentorship, or personal learning, I am committed to promoting a holistic view of health that is rooted in optimizing our ability to change the lives of others.
