Born and raised in Detroit, Nicholas began his educational journey at the University of Dayton as a Chaminade Scholar. He later transferred to Wayne State University, completing his bachelor's degree in 2013. His passion for public health policy propelled him to pursue further education at Johns Hopkins University, where he obtained dual master's degrees in Public Policy and Public Health in 2017.

In 2012, during his undergraduate studies, Nicholas recognized the pressing need for enhanced public health services in Detroit. This led him to establish Healthy Detroit, a nonprofit organization that fills this gap through innovative health programs. His leadership was instrumental in securing over $100 million in funding for the organization, enabling it to execute various health initiatives. By 2017, Healthy Detroit boasted an annual budget of $15 million, highlighting his effectiveness in strategic growth and resource management.

Expanding his career into public policy consulting, Nicholas founded Healthy Communities in 2017 in Washington, D.C. This firm specialized in advising political figures and government agencies, providing insights that helped shape public health policies. His consultancy attracted high-profile clients, including Speaker Paul Ryan and Senators Rand Paul and Tim Scott, as well as projects with the White House's Office of American Innovation.

Nicholas also established Tera Strategies in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he advises corporations and family offices on strategic management and operational efficiency.

Nicholas is acclaimed for his adept leadership and strategic insights across various sectors, including public health, business consulting, and wealth management. He is multilingual and fluent in English and Arabic, with continuing efforts to improve his Spanish, enhancing his ability to engage with diverse client bases.

Nicholas serves on several boards, including the Men's Health Foundation and Trinity Health System in Livonia, Michigan. He has also chaired the Detroit Parks & Recreation Commission and actively participated in the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance.
