End-to-End Marketing Automation:Leveraging Sitecore XM Cloud Forms, Sitecore Connect & Sitecore Send

Sitecore XM Cloud Forms is one of the biggest and most awaited features added by Sitecore in the last quarter on XM Cloud. It allows a very user-friendly interface to the users, to create forms in XM Cloud. But are you aware, XM Cloud Forms and Sitecore Forms in our usual XP Versions of Sitecore work differently? Yes, that is correct, as Sitecore XM Cloud is a SaaS product, and part of the composable world, the way in which Forms work, has to support the product. So, there is no Forms Database where you can store the data, as we used to do it in Sitecore Forms.
Now, as XM Cloud Forms are built for the Composable world, it is very important for us Developers and Architects, to think about how to integrate and utilize the power of Forms in a Composable way. This is where we want to share our use cases, of how can we build Forms in XM Cloud Forms. We will be first creating a Recipe in Sitecore Connect, to receive data from a FORM and save it in Sitecore Send. Next, we will go ahead and build a Form in XM Cloud Forms and select the Recipe we created in the Webhook section of the form, to submit the data to it.
Now, we will go and check whether the data is received in Sitecore Send or not. Finally, we will send out a confirmation email at the end, once the data is successfully received in Sitecore Send. As an example, if the Form is for Subscription or Registration, the email sent will be for confirmation of Subscription or Registration.
This is mainly a Marketer session to think about how various products of Sitecore Composable architecture, can come together to help their business get greater value and success.
