Unleash the Power of AI for Mindmapping Spec Documents

In modern software development, ensuring robust and reliable testing is crucial for delivering high-quality products. Traditional manual creation of test cases (TCs) from user stories often becomes time-consuming and error-prone. This paper proposes an innovative solution that leverages AWS Bedrock, a state-of-the-art generative AI model, for the automatic creation of detailed test cases from specification documents. The solution is integrated into an existing self-serve portal, where Quality Assurance (QA) teams can upload user story documents and receive test case mind maps, facilitating better test coverage and faster delivery cycles. We demonstrate how AWS Bedrock enhances the process through natural language processing (NLP) to generate structured test cases, mapped into mind map format for easy integration into QA workflows. This approach offers a significant leap toward automating and streamlining test case generation, resulting in enhanced testing efficiency and quality.
