Nikita Takru is a product manager for Microsoft's Azure Data team. At Microsoft, Nikita works on Power BI Copilot. She has also worked on Azure Arc-enabled Data Services which allows Azure capabilities to be extended to any infrastructure across multicloud, on-premises, and edge environments for customers.

Before joining Microsoft, Nikita graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Computer Science & Business. In college, she was on the board of USC Women in Computing and the LavaLab startup incubator. Besides this, Nikita founded a program called CodeUCan in 2014 to teach coding skills to elementary and middle school children. She was awarded a commendation by the San Jose, California City Council for helping provide digital literacy skills to students in the Bay Area through the CodeUCan program.
