We are writing to propose a speaking session for the upcoming Google I/O Extended conference on Android - ‘developing for developing economies’. As experienced Android developers, we have witnessed firsthand the potential of the Android platform to drive economic development and job creation in developing nations like India.

During my session, we would like to discuss the benefits and challenges of Android development in developing economies that we have personally faced, as well as the diverse set of tools and resources available for developers to create innovative applications that meet the needs of specific communities and industries.

We also plan to share specific success stories and failures that we have experienced in our experience of working on budget android devices as well as smart TVs. We will also discuss the steps that governments, organizations, and individuals can take to invest in and support the growth of the Android development industry in developing economies.
