Ekiliwo Nnenna is an emerging geoscientist currently pursuing her Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Sedimentary/ Petroleum Geology at Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. Her academic journey is rooted in a strong passion for environmental sustainability and subsurface resource evaluation, with a focus on integrating geological knowledge with environmental best practices.

She is currently undertaking a postgraduate research internship with Renaissance African Energy Company, where she works with the environment team. In this role, she supports environmental monitoring, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives across upstream oil and gas operations. Her involvement includes analysing environmental impact data, participating in field assessments, and contributing to environmental reporting and mitigation planning experiences that are enhancing her understanding of responsible resource development.

Nnenna is particularly passionate about the intersection of geoscience and environmental stewardship, advocating for sustainable practices in resource extraction. She brings a balanced approach that bridges technical reservoir understanding with environmental risk awareness.
