Nolan S. Code, MBA, MSc, is the founder and executive director of the Atlanta AI & Robotics Initiative (AARI). A former Microsoft AI and cloud specialist, U.S. Army veteran, and exited founder, he focuses on the infrastructure powering the AI economy: data centers, cloud, robotics, physical AI, and the workforce required to operate them.
Through AARI, Nolan builds hands-on labs, paid apprenticeships, and industry partnerships that move students beyond the classroom and into real infrastructure environments.
His broader thesis, “Own the Stack,” argues that communities should not simply provide the land, power, and talent behind AI. They should participate in the infrastructure, ownership, and economic value being created around it.
His doctrine is simple: operators, not observers.
