In this session, we will cover:
• An overview of K8GB and its key features
• How K8GB integrates with Kubernetes to provide seamless GeoDNS functionality
• Strategies for achieving high service resiliency with K8GB in multi-cloud environments
• Real-world use cases demonstrating K8GB’s effectiveness in maintaining service continuity and performance
• A live demonstration of K8GB in action

This session is perfect for cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and IT professionals seeking to improve their global content delivery and service resiliency strategies. Join us to discover how K8GB can help you achieve top-tier service performance and resilience across any cloud environment.

From IIS to Windows Containers

Nesta sessão vamos mostrar como tirar partido do ecossistema de Kubernetes disponível no Azure Kubernetes Service para optimizarmos workloads atualmente em IIS

Multi-Cloud Global Content Distribution at Cloud Native Speeds

If you’ve been globally distributing digital content for a while, you’ll understand that merely having numerous datacenters with advanced caching patterns isn’t sufficient. When your users need to retrieve an object that’s available in different locations worldwide, they should ideally be directed automatically to the location that’s nearest and fastest for the best experience.

Cloud service providers typically offer services to handle this for you within their own clouds, but what if you are running a multi-cloud or hybrid environment?

K8GB is a cloud-native solution that handles GeoDNS across heterogeneous environments and enables you to reach the same level of multiregion service resilience offered by cloud providers.

Why is building and running microservice apps hard?

In this session, we'll show how Radius from the Azure Incubations team enables developers and operators that support them to define, deploy, and collaborate on cloud-native applications across public clouds and private infrastructure in a unique and integrated way.

Rightsizing workloads in Kubernetes

In this session, we'll show how to use the KEDA autoscaler to drive the scaling of any workload in Kubernetes based on the number of events needing to be processed, ensuring that we always have the best cost vs. performance ratio.

Container services - What, Why, When & How

Nesta sessão vamos conhecer melhor os fundamentos dos serviços para containers em Azure, as suas características, o que os distingue e como tirar o melhor partido de cada um deles, tanto enquanto developers como responsáveis pela infraestrutura.

From 8 days to 8 minutes

Learn how the largest private-sector bank in Portugal automated the entire app and infra dependencies lifecycle with a single file, providing a curated self-service experience to our software developers.

Introdução a Azure Arc para Kubernetes

Nesta sessão vamos descobrir como gerir com uma única ferramenta múltiplos clusters de Kubernetes, estejam eles em Azure, on-prem ou outros cloud providers.

Simplifying Cloud-Native Applications with Radius: A Developer and IT Approach to Multi-Cloud

As cloud computing continues to accelerate innovation, many companies are building increasingly complex, cloud-native applications that span multiple public clouds and private infrastructures. While Kubernetes has paved the way for portability and scalability, its complexity and lack of a formal application definition have created challenges for developers and IT teams. Managing applications composed of numerous interconnected services—and ensuring they meet corporate standards for cost, operations, and security—requires a new approach.

Project Radius, developed by the Azure Incubations Team, was designed to address these challenges by providing a unified, open-source platform that simplifies cloud-native application management and enhances multi-cloud compatibility. Radius builds on top of Kubernetes, working with familiar tools like Terraform, Bicep, and GitHub Actions, to streamline the development and deployment process. Unlike Kubernetes alone, Radius recognizes the full scope of an application, connecting components, managing dependencies, and automating essential tasks like setting permissions and configuring connections.

In this session, we’ll explore Radius’s architecture and design, focusing on how it empowers both developers and IT teams to collaborate efficiently and adopt cloud-native best practices by default. Whether you’re running applications on Azure, other clouds, or on-premises, Radius offers a powerful, developer-friendly solution for simplifying application management, ensuring compliance, and accelerating cloud adoption.
